Changelog

What is new in Shmor.

Changes you can see in the product, newest first, dated from our release history.

  1. One shared address for forwarded email

    • Forward emails to in@emails.useshmor.com. Shmor knows it is you from the address you forward from: your account email or another address you have confirmed.
    • Mail to the shared address must pass DMARC, so nobody can send captures as you. If your mailbox fails the check, Shmor sends one notice a day to your account email, and your private Shmor address still works.
    • Security updates to the web framework and its dependencies.
  2. Connect Attio and HubSpot with an access key

    • Connect HubSpot with a service key or a private app token, from the Integrations page or during set-up. The form lists the scopes to add.
    • Connect Attio with a workspace access token in the same way.
    • Shmor checks the key and adds its own fields before saving, so a key that does not work never replaces a connection that does.
    • In Attio, tasks and deals are created unassigned when Shmor cannot tell which workspace member you are.
  3. ShmorCRM screens and the email channel

    • ShmorCRM has its own screens: people, companies, tasks and a deals board you can re-order by drag and drop or with the keyboard. Tables have search, filters, sorting and paging.
    • Person and company pages show a timeline of captures, notes, tasks and deals.
    • Export all downloads a ZIP of CSV files: people, companies, deals, tasks, notes and the captured text.
    • ShmorCRM stays in the menu after you connect Attio or HubSpot, read-only, so records you kept there are still visible.
    • Forward an email to Shmor: it reads images, audio and vCard contact cards in the attachments, replies in the same thread, and takes your answers by reply.
  4. ShmorCRM, guided set-up and Pro features

    • ShmorCRM, a micro-CRM built into Shmor, is the default for new accounts, so you can start without connecting a CRM. How many records it holds depends on your plan.
    • A guided set-up page, with optional steps about your business and your deal settings.
    • WhatsApp is marked as coming soon and cannot be linked yet.
    • On Pro: deals, and custom field mapping that fills up to 10 of your own person fields in Attio or HubSpot.
    • Sign in with the link or the 6-digit code from the same email.
    • Saved keys show only their last 4 characters, and cannot be read back.
    • Request an integration from your dashboard.
    • The bot understands pending and help typed without the slash.
  5. Plans on sale

    • Solo and Pro are the plans on sale. Team is no longer offered.
  6. The first version

    • The Shmor bot on Telegram: send a screenshot, a card photo, a voice note or text, and Shmor writes the person, company, note and follow-up task to Attio or HubSpot.
    • Your own Apollo API key, stored encrypted, for looking up LinkedIn links.
    • Monthly and yearly subscriptions and top-ups, paid through Stripe.
