Attio, updated from a Telegram chat.
A bot for people who run their relationships in Attio and their day in Telegram. Send it whoever you just met; it writes the person and company to Attio and keeps a list of what is still missing.
A typical day
Three people, three messages.
- Morning coffee
- A voice message on the walk back: “Coffee with Dan Okafor from Lumen Health, wants an intro to our CTO, follow up Monday.”
- Lunch panel
- A photo of the speaker’s badge, sent as you leave the room. Shmor asks how you met; tap Conference.
- Evening
- A screenshot of a LinkedIn profile someone shared in a Telegram group, forwarded with a note.
Each one lands in Attio as a person linked to a company, with Met via, Met at, a note and a task. Your evening is not spent typing them in.
Loose ends
/pending is your to-do list.
When Shmor cannot work something out, it saves the person anyway and marks what is missing in the Needs info attribute in Attio. Send /pending to the bot to list everyone still waiting for an answer.
Answer by replying to a card. The attribute clears itself once nothing is missing.
LinkedIn links
Paste a link instead of a screenshot.
Add your own Apollo API key in Settings and you can send a LinkedIn profile link on its own. Shmor looks the person up with your Apollo credits and fills in name, title, company and work email where Apollo has them. Without a key, a screenshot of the profile works just as well.
