Attio is only as good as the people in it, and many introductions now arrive on WhatsApp. Messaging Shmor on WhatsApp is not available yet. Today you can screenshot the intro and send it to Shmor on Telegram, and Attio gets the person, the company, a note and a task.

Introductions
The intro arrives in WhatsApp. The relationship should live in Attio.
“You two should meet” messages, a contact passed on in a group, a voice note from a friend about someone they know: they are where a lot of good relationships start, and they are the hardest to get into a CRM because they never pass through your inbox.
Screenshot the intro and send it to Shmor on Telegram. Shmor reads who is being introduced and by whom, so Met via can be set to Intro and Met at to the person who made the introduction. Once WhatsApp is available, you will be able to forward the intro to Shmor there instead.

What you will see on the record.
- Person
- Name, job title and any email, phone number or LinkedIn URL the message gave, linked to the company.
- Company
- Matched by domain or name, created if new.
- Met via, Met at
- Where the relationship came from, written once and not overwritten later.
- Note
- The gist of the conversation, so the context survives.
- Task
- Your follow-up, linked to the person.
Gaps
A first name and a company is enough to start.
Introductions often leave things out. Shmor saves what it has, marks the person in Needs info, and asks you in the chat for what matters, such as when to follow up. Reply to the card when you know more, or send a profile screenshot later as a reply, and the same record is updated.
