Shmor on WhatsApp is coming soon.
You will be able to link your WhatsApp number to Shmor and send it a card photo, a profile screenshot or a voice note, just as you can on Telegram today. Until then, Telegram is the way to use Shmor.
WhatsApp cannot be linked yet.
Start on Telegram today: the same captures, the same CRM records and the same follow-up tasks. Your account and CRM stay as they are when WhatsApp arrives.
14 days free, 25 captures, no card.
The plan
Linking will take one message.
- 01
Open Channels in your account
Choose WhatsApp. Shmor will show a short code, valid for 15 minutes. - 02
Send the code to Shmor’s number
Shmor will reply to confirm, and your number will be linked to your account and CRM. - 03
Save the chat
Pin it or add Shmor to your contacts, so it is one tap away when you leave a meeting.
What to send
What you will be able to send.
- Photos
- A business card, a conference badge, or a screenshot of a LinkedIn or event-app profile.
- Image files
- JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF sent as a document. HEIC files will need to be sent as a photo.
- Voice notes
- Say who they are, where you met and what happens next. Up to 2 minutes per capture.
- Text
- A line is enough: “Priya Shah, Brightwater, met at SaaStock, keen on a pilot.”
- Captions
- Context added as the caption on a photo will be read with the image, as one capture.
All of these work on Telegram today.
The reply
A card back, with buttons for what is missing.
You: [Screenshot of a LinkedIn profile]
Shmor: Saved to your CRM: Jordan Lee, Partner at Fenwick Advisory. How did you meet?
You: Intro from Alex, follow up next Tuesday
Shmor: Updated Jordan Lee: met via Intro (Alex). Follow-up: Tue 27 Oct.
As on Telegram, you will be able to reply to any card later, by quoting it, to add details to that person, and send /pending to see everyone who still needs an answer.
Privacy
What goes where.
Once WhatsApp is available, messages to Shmor’s number will be delivered through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. Shmor will download the photo or voice note, read it with OpenAI and write the result to your CRM, as it does for Telegram today: with Attio or HubSpot it will keep only IDs, counts and timestamps, and with ShmorCRM it will store the contact and the message text for you. It will not keep the photo or the audio.
Read the security page and the sub-processors list for the detail.
