Add your Apollo key for LinkedIn lookups
By Lev Perlman1 min read
Add the key
- Create an API key in Apollo's developer dashboard. Shmor only uses People Enrichment, so a key scoped to that endpoint is enough.
- In Shmor, open Settings, find Apollo (optional), paste the key into API key and click Save key.
Only the account owner can add or remove the key. The card shows Key saved and the last 4 characters.
What it does
When you send a LinkedIn profile link, Shmor asks Apollo to match it and uses the name, job title, company and work email. Only the first link in a message is looked up. Lookups use your Apollo credits.
If Apollo has no match, the reply says so and the LinkedIn URL is still saved.
Without a key
Shmor saves the LinkedIn URL you send but makes no lookup. Send a screenshot of the profile to get the name, title and company.
Security
The key is encrypted before it is stored and cannot be read back, even by you. Click Remove key to delete it from Shmor, or revoke it in Apollo.
