Captures, limits and the free trial

By 1 min read

Plan prices, monthly captures and ShmorCRM record limits are on the pricing page, which always shows the current figures.

What counts as a capture

  • One capture: one message (or one forwarded email) about a person, with up to one image (an email can carry up to 5 attachments) and up to 2 minutes of audio.
  • Longer audio: each started 2 minutes uses one more capture. Voice notes can be up to 10 minutes.
  • Replies: the first 3 replies about a contact in a billing period are free; after that, each uses a capture.
  • Free: commands (help, pending), button taps, and messages where Shmor could not find a person or something failed.

The free trial

Every account starts with a free trial: a set number of days and captures, with no card. When it ends, Shmor stops saving new contacts until you choose a plan on the Billing page. Everything already in Attio or HubSpot stays there, and ShmorCRM records stay, read-only.

Running low or out

Shmor emails you when you have used 80% of your captures, and again when they run out. When you are out, the bot tells you and stops saving new contacts until your next billing period. On a paid plan you can buy a top-up on the Billing page; top-up captures last until the end of the current period.

ShmorCRM records

People, companies and deals count as records; notes and tasks do not. When ShmorCRM is full, Shmor stops saving to it, without using a capture, until you delete records or upgrade. If your plan ends, records stay, read-only: you can view, export and delete them.

Changing plan or cancelling

On the Billing page you can change plan, cancel, update your card and download invoices. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. See cancellation and refunds.
