Getting started with Shmor

Sign in
Go to Sign in, enter your email and click Email me a sign-in link and code. The email has both a link and a 6-digit code; either signs you in. Use the link on the same device, or type the code. Signing in for the first time creates your account and starts your free trial, with no card.
The set-up page
After signing in, Set up walks you through five steps. Three are needed before Shmor can save contacts; two are optional.
| Step | Needed? | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| About your business | Optional | Describe what you do, and add words voice notes get wrong |
| Choose your CRM | Yes | Keep ShmorCRM, or connect Attio or HubSpot |
| Deal settings | Optional | List the services you sell, for deal suggestions |
| Link Telegram | Yes | Link the bot, or use email forwarding |
| Send your first capture | Yes | Send someone you met |
Click Skip for now on an optional step, and Finish later to leave set-up and come back.
Where contacts go
New accounts start on ShmorCRM, the micro-CRM built into Shmor, so the CRM step is already done. To use Attio or HubSpot instead, see Connect Attio or Connect HubSpot.
Your first capture
Send any of these to the bot, or in an email you forward:
- a screenshot of a LinkedIn or other profile;
- a photo of a business card;
- a voice note about who you met;
- a short message, such as "Met Sam Patel from Acme at the fintech meetup, follow up next week".
Shmor replies with what it saved. Your Overview then shows recent activity and your usage.
Account owners and members
Only the account owner can connect the CRM and change settings. Members can still link their own Telegram.
